iPhone Photography #101: Uncover the Hidden Menu

The great thing about the iPhone is how great the camera has gotten over the years.

The bad news: Apple has thrown so many new features at us, most people have no idea what’s in there. The menu has gotten way too complicated. But that’s what we’re here for.

Let me walk you through and explain it to you, in the first of our new series of iPhone Photography #101 videos.

In this video, I walk you through the various hidden menu features: flash (turn on and off), Night Mode, Live, Styles, the decisions on photo Aspect Ratio and video frame rates, how to adjust the exposure, how to turn on the timer (my favorite tool for great selfies) Filters and RAW control.

This is part 1 of a ten-part series. You can see all of the episodes in this YouTube Playlist:

Check it out, and remember, if you have any questions, leave them in the comments, or join our live show every Thursday at 2 p.m. PT where we answer them in real time.
