Capture slice of Italian life in Los Angeles gem: Naples Island

Think the top photo spots in Los Angeles, and the usual suspects come to mind: the Hollywood Sign, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Venice Beach.

They're all great, but may I also introduce you to an under-the-radar, hidden gem for travel photography? Naples Island is a little enclave of Long Beach (half-way between downtown L.A. and Disneyland) where all the street signs are in Italian, gondoliers serenade us with song as they cruise up the canals, and you can walk along the water, or swim in it, if you like.

I recently brought the iPhone to Naples to document it for the latest #PhotowalksTV episode. Click below and check it out!
